Ana de la Reguera and Ana Gasteyer Bio
Ana Kristina Gasteyer was born in America. She is an actress, comedian and singer. Her fame was forged by her appearance as a host of the NBC comedy sketch show Saturday Night Live in 1996-2002. In the years since, she has been a part of ABC's Suburgatory TBS People of Earth NBC American Auto and film Mean Girls. Gasteyer started her career in Northwestern University. She initially trained in voice, but then switched to theater when she got involved with the improv comedy group on campus. And that spirit has followed her throughout a variety of supporting roles like the overly controlling Sheila Shay on Suburgatory and the eccentric Karen Grisham (agent) on Lady Dynamite. She has starred in film telenovelas, including the HBO television series Eastbound & Down and Capadocia the Amazon television series Goliath and in the 2006 comedic Nacho Libre. Reguera was born in Veracruz, Mexico. Nena La Reguera's mom was Miss Veracruz. Nena also was a journalist. Reguera was a ballet student as well as began classes in performing arts in the Instituto Veracruzano de la Cultura.
